Kyle And Jeanette's Wedding Blog

Ok, well I'm something of a techie, and I saw someone else who did this for their wedding and I thought this would be a great idea. Jeanette is a bit more hesitant about it, as she's not only a teacher but is also working on her Master's Degree right now; so she might not have a lot of time to write, at least for now.

Let me catch you up to where we are as of tonight...
Jeanette and I met in January at church, she was singing in the worship band, and I was doing drama that weekend. We saw each other and something just clicked. February 14th (Valentines Day) I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. We've been dating for a little over 7 months now and have decided to get married. Because of my job situation, I've been unable to buy her a ring yet, but we've decided to begin the plans regardless, knowing that the ring will come in time. We've reserved the church and the reception hall, picked our wedding party and have begun our guest lists. Hopefully we'll be able to give some background on our wedding party on the site while things are slow... I dunno.

This is my first wedding I've ever helped plan, so I'm learning as I go what goes into it. So far I'm thanking God for the woman I have beside me, and a mother-in-law who is VERY detail oriented and has the time on her hands to do a lot of the leg work for us. She's a greater blessing than she knows.
